Case Study
Five Alive Studio is a creative studio founded by five friends who came together during their final project in Fanshawe's Interactive Media Design program. Combining everyone's creative expertise, they create branding, design, marketing, websites, and multimedia works for non-profit organizations and well-known community projects.

Our main logo resembles puzzle pieces with accompanying colours that represent all of the five members. We used geometric shapes, together with board game elements, inspired by the card game, our creative energy, and head-turning presentations.
Our branding connects with all of our marketing publications to display a cohesive look to our online presence, including social media templates, business cards, advertising banners, photography, posters, and presentation decks. Here are teaser posters used during the release of our company via our social media pages.
We created business cards that resembled trading cards in relation to our board game theme. It is also a fun way to showcase all the members of the group, having the ability to mix and match the cards, and turn it into an actual game. Each of the cards has our own signature color, starburst icon, name, role, email adress, and qr code.
Our website features arcade elements, scrollable animations, an international theme to represent where we all came from, our story, and interactive cards about us. We designed it in Figma for the wireframes and Adobe Illustrator for the branded assets.
The Brothers In Arms Memorial project shares the story of the Indian and Canadian soldiers who fought together in WW1. The campaign's goal is to increase awareness, foster engagement across all generations, and raise funds to build the memorial. It featured stories about the war, battles, soldiers, regiments, and a timeline.
This project highlights their collaboration, the background of the Srishti Foundation, and the development of the memorial, through brand design, website development, video production, brand design, social media marketing, printed publications, content organization, 3D visualization, animation, research, and client presentation.
A video documentary was produced with the founders of the memorial to learn more about the project, history insights, and their organization. The gear we used are two Nikon Z50 cameras, Sennheiser lav mics, professional lighting equipment, and a DMX spotlight to add texture to the background, all within a dark studio environment.
Cornerstone is a United Reformed Church in London, Ontario, that needed a modernized brand identity and website overhaul. This project focused on creating a better welcoming identity, reaching a broader audience, and making church information and updates easier for members to access.
We supported them by creating a new logo, designing a revamped brand identity, developing a website, and collaborating on ideas. The pages featured a welcome kit, more about the church, updating live sermons, activities, and donations. I contributed by brainstorming logo concepts, designing the website, and editing media assets.
Google Dev Fest 2025 is a tech community event hosted in London, Ontario that tackles AI, cloud solutions, cybersecurity, web development, and networking. We contributed design collateral, social media marketing, photography coverage, speaker assistance, and technical event volunteer support.
Coming from different parts of the world, Five Alive met at Fanshawe College to study and pursue their passion for the tech and creative industry. But they didn't expect what would happen next. Starting off as classmates to eventual close friends, they worked together in a couple of group assignments and courseworks.
However in their final project, fate seemed to group them together in one team, which led to something great. Leveraging everyone's talents from coding to designing with a little bit of crazy ideas overflowing, they were able to win their capstone competition for the brothers in arms project. After graduating, they kept hanging out.
But now, there was a question on everyone's mind. What if we make this real? A few months later, Five Alive Studio was created, with five founders and the company with the same name as their team. Now they do great work collaborating with non-profit organizations, and enjoy experiences together from friends to co-workers.
